The daughter of a retired Marine veteran and Entrepreneur, Jazmin moved around often but has made Atlanta home for over 12 years. Jazmin graduated from Howard University located in Washington, DC in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. She then graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School located in Atlanta, Georgia in 2016.
Jazmin’s legal career proves to be one of versatility with advocacy at the core of her dedication to the practice of law. Jazmin began her legal career in public service specifically within criminal defense as a Public Defender, and her practice has spanned from criminal law, entertainment law, labor and employment and appellate matters. As a proud trial lawyer, prior to working for the Firm, she has tried misdemeanor and felony cases by Motion practice and to verdict by jury before the State Courts of Fulton, Henry, and DeKalb Counties and the State and Juvenile Courts of Clayton County. Jazmin has transitioned her passion for trial work into Personal Injury handling matters from motor vehicle accidents to premise and product liability as a Litigation Associate with The Dennis Law Firm. Her passion for trial work is steeped in the truth that justice does not simply arrive, it must be fought for.
She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Jazmin sits on the Board of Directors for DeKalb Brilliance Academy a tuition-free, public Kindergarten-8th grade South DeKalb charter school.
In her personal life, Jazmin enjoys traveling, trying new foods from varying cultures and spending time with family. She is married to her husband who is an educator in DeKalb County Schools and the proud mom of a three-year-old daughter named Charlotte and infant daughter named Cadence.
